When life goes dull , its time to answer nature's call.

When I was doing the last minute studies before my sem end exams ,I stopped and started to think about how time has passed from the first day of the college to the last sem, due to begin. My thoughts pondered off to the coming future and their importance .
I suddenly realized that now is the time when many of us will move on in life and become professionals somewhere or the other.
But getting a job is the hardest part ,when you live in country where 2 out of 5 engineers are related to the IT industry the competition is unimaginable.
My friend jolted me out of my limbo and i resumed my revision for the next paper but the wave of tension had naturally started to build up . For the next few weeks I sat down in long limbos thinking about the path which i should take for pursuing the professional front of my life. But it didn't help only made my thoughts more chaotic
Out of nowhere came a thought to leave all the tension behind and go for a walk among the hills and relax my mind.
And thats what i exactly did ,looked up at my bike and said "lets go".There I was, right between the kumaon region and staring at the mighty Himalayas.
Looking at the flying snow from the caps was majestic and it taught me a very interesting fact of life "time does go by it never stops whether its the hard part or the lighter one it will fade away".
So,I came back from my trip 1200km of biking takes a toll on the ass ,literally, fully rejuvenated.Ready to take on the world again.

Do you want to relive every song you ever heard? SoundMagic PL-11 is the answer.

I know guys those are not the very top of the line or the best ear phones available in the market, but definitely for the price of Rs.560 they are awesome.Since I don't get enough pocket money to buy BOSE but these were the only ones in my budget and seems to carry a good reputation. But only after owning them I came to know about the actual performance and sound quality.

Specifications :
IN-Ear type ear phones.
With Super Deep Bass (IT WILL blow ur mind)
Comes with different sizes of ear pieces.
A carry pouch is also provided
and comes in a well packed little box.

I threw a hell lot of songs from country to blues to rock and even techno on these but this thing owned them all, the bass response is super awesome it is very thorough and deep. The mids and highs are all well handled .

I will rate it 8.5/10 - Excellent

If you want these you can get them on ebay.in or from mediahome.in.

enjoy.

Peace out.

My Qik Story.

Couple of days back i was going to attend my good friend's sister's wedding but before that out of nowhere he asked me " you have to stream the ceremony on the internet - live" ,I thought " does he wants it as a fancy or..." but before I can cross question him,he told me about her eldest sister who was away in USA and wasn't able to come due to some unforeseen circumstances. And she really wants to see the ceremony.
"Hmmm, Live streaming ,minimal delay,Quality concerns", jargon just started to pop  in my head amidst this jargonotic chaos many ideas popped in like Skype (firstly) , Google Video Chat, VLC Camera Stream but then i remembered about a service named QIK  which helps to stream directly live from a number of Smart phones ( and im a proud owner of an E5 yeye) to the world .

<<<<<<WARNING ,GEEK STUFF. MAY INDUCE NAUSEA >>>>>> :P
So , the tests began before couple of hours from the main event .Initial tests were just BS (thanks to BSNL 3g) but after tinkering under the hood i was able to get a reliable stream at 176X144 res with audio.
<<<<<</GEEK STUFF ENDS>>>>>>>>>

So,the event began and i started streaming from my Nokia E5 initial streams were good and after getting feedback from US i was confident that everything will go fine, and it did :-).

I am just not happy that i streamed something via my cell to the world but ,i made some one smile because of it ,was what made me happy .

You can still chk out the videos at http://www.qik.com/nihitj .

Qik Rocks .

A funny photo and some info about SSL.

Got this funny pic when returning back from Delhi to my place.Well SSL/TLS has made our online presence very very secure with its strong encryption mechanism. From electronic transactions to checking your mail every web application is now implementing SSL/TLS mechanism for securing their users privacy from unauthorized access. more here (okay, i know  its boring but bear with me plz).
Apart from taking a funny pic I am actually using it in my major project which takes care of some "pretty serious security issues" (more on that later).

Thank you, Netscape. (why am i thanking netscape??).

Peace out.

Chinese Stealth fighter test raises eyebrows .

The photo above is of the latest top secret J-20 Stealth air superiority jet fighter ,which was secretly developed by the Chinese to upgrade their Air force. But the impact of its disclosure to the world really shook the "super powers".

Co-incidentally or "deliberately I can't be sure about that but the defense secretary of the  United States was there too when the first test flight of the jet took place (deliberately it is then :P). So,back to the topic ,there are just two more stealth fighters in the world the F-22 Raptor from the US which is out of production due to high production costs and the other is the Joint Strike fighter F-35 being developed by Lockheed Martin but is currently under development ;and one of the three being with the Chinese change the way how there military impression is on the world (clearly going offensive ).
But What does India has just for the sake of comparison lets see,Jaguar,MiG-27, Harpy,HAL Tejas ,none of them is a stealth and the last one Tejas is not fully developed(and never will). So,we're out of the league and its happy to see our lovely neighbour getting a new Stealth Fighter.Hope they never need to use .

Peace out.

My blogging adventures begins again.

After having maintained a couple of blogs in the past and having mixed experiences with them .I have decided yet again to write myself out but this time in a more generalized way .
The name of the blog is "iWrite-too",the "i" comes from the App*e's convention and the phrase "Write-too" tells about another blogger who likes to tell the world what he has to say, another drop in the ocean.
So here I am writing out myself.

Next Ubuntu's UI will be Unity Based .But what is Unity?

The next version of Ubuntu i.e. 11.04 code named "Natty Narwhal" will feature a brand new interface based on Unity an internal Canonical project which will make the interface more intuitive and easy to use.
Some background info on Unity : From Canonical's Website

"Unity provides a complete, simple, touch-ready environment that integrations your applications and your workflow.

Unity is designed for netbooks and related touch-based devices. It includes a new panel and application launcher that makes it fast and easy to access preferred applications, such as the browser, while removing screen elements that are rarely used in mobile and netbook computing.
Unity has a vertical task management panel on the left-hand side and a menu panel at the top of the screen. Using a sidebar for task management conserves vertical screen space, which is much more valuable on a widescreen netbook. The task panel displays icons for commonly-used applications and programs that are currently running. Clicking on an icon will give the target application focus if it is already running or launch it if it is not already running. If you click the icon of an application that already has focus, Unity will activate an Expose-style view of all the open windows associated with that application. "
